Separation in the kitchen
Organic waste is separated at source, into dedicated bins.

Collection
Weekly collection of kitchen waste and leaves from the area.

Composting
The material is stabilised in layers, with temperature and moisture control.

Vermicomposting
Red worms turn the compost into clean humus and liquid fertiliser.
Volumes, maturation times and laboratory analyses will be published once the first full cycle is complete.
